Garden Time Course 1 is the first in a series of online courses from Learn2Grow and the National Garden Clubs, based on the NGC internationally recognized Gardening Study Schools series. This course is open to NGC members and non-members alike. This course focuses on the gardening essentials:

Registration Procedures At A Glance
You must first join Learn2Grow in order to proceed to purchasing the course -- Learn2Grow membership is free.
Once registered, you will need the following in order to purchase the course:
Additional requirements for NGC Members:
If you are an NGC member seeking NGC Gardening School credit for this course, you will need the following:
- The name of your local garden club affiliation
- The state of your club
If you are taking the Garden Time course for a Refresher credit, you will also need:
- Verification of your NGC Membership
- Your NGC Life Member number, or
- The expiration date from your National Gardener magazine label
If you are an NGC member but do not have one of the above, please contact the NGC office in St. Louis,
MO at 800-555-6007.
Taking the Course
- Once you have purchased the course, you will have 30 days to complete the course.
- You may enter the course anytime during this period to complete all or part of the course.
- You can re-enter the course as the page you list visited by clicking the "Bookmark" button at the bottom of the page.
- You can take the course a lesson at a time, a module at a time, or all at once.
- You can re-enter the course at any time once you have registered and purchased. Simply login to Learn2Grow and click the Courses tab on the orange navigational bar at the top of any page.
- Successful completion of this course will allow you to earn credit consistent with the National Garden Club's standards for
National Garden Clubs Garden Time Course 1.
- You can print your certificate of completion with your successful completion of the course.

A Word About Web Browsers
National Garden Clubs Garden Time Course 1 requires a modern web browser.
The course has been tested with current version of Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari.
With the exception of a minor glitch in Safari, all of these browsers are fully compatible
with the course.
AOL browsers do not work with the course. If you don't have one of the three browsers above,
you can download any of the browsers for free and run them after you have used your AOL account to connect to
the Internet.
