Lindheimer's beeblossom is a long-lived hardy perennial that is native to Texas and Louisiana. Members of the Karalee® series have distinctly dwarf, bushy habits and fine rose-hued dark green foliage. From summer to fall they produce many arching stems covered with delicate, open, five petaled flowers with long prominent anthers. These bee and butterfly magnets are in shades of pink or white, depending on the cultivar. Remove spent flowers to encourage continued blooming.
