Freely producing large flower clusters, the Showcase™ Bright Red zonal geranium is easy to spot with its vibrant scarlet blossoms. Plants have a compact, mounding but upright, well-branching habit and their deep green leaves have faintly brown zonal bands. This California-bred hybrid plant blooms continuously if well-maintained, such as deadheading old flower heads and stems. It performs best in hot, dry weather when nighttime temperatures are comfortably cool and humidity is lower.

The rounded, coarse-feeling leaves are lush green but with a circular, "zonal" darker green band in their middles.
