Clustered bellflower is a vigorous, spreading perennial native to much of Europe and Asia. The seed-grown cultivar 'Alba' bears impressive clusters of starry white bell-flowers on stout upright stems from late spring into summer. The leaves are broad and fuzzy.
Grow 'Alba' in moist but well-drained soil in sun to partial shade. Cut back the spent flower stems to encourage reblooming. It works well in the perennial border or cottage garden.
