The Carafe Series of rosemallow is composed of three members of well-branching compact plants. Leaves are heart-shaped and a light green and cover the upright, sturdy stems. The magnificent flowers are large, about the size of a canteloupe and are borne from midsummer to frost. Cultivars of this series are named after wines. The Carafe Series' mature height is slightly taller than those of the Splash Series.
