Also known as "Spotlight", this "decorative" chrysanthemum bears masses of double, 3-inch-wide (7.5 cm), pale silver-pink blooms on dense, mounded, 1-foot (30 cm) plants. The shorter central petals open rose-pink and age to creamy yellow. Plants flower from late summer to early fall. This cultivar was selected by Janet S. The double-flowered garden chrysanthemum Symphony™ Pink produces masses of lavender-pink blooms on densely branching, 16- to 20-inch (40 to 50 cm) plants. The 2.5-inch-wide (6 cm) blooms appear in late summer and early fall. This cultivar was bred and selected in the late 1980s by Janet S. Fuess of Empire Mums, New York Mills, New York. It is distinct from the spider mum 'Symphony', which dates from about the same time.
