A tuberous perennial from the Dahlinova® series of dahlias, 'Fidahcali' is better know as the Dahlinova® California dahlia. It develops into a compact, much-branched, mounding plant. This hybrid was developed by plant breeders in The Netherlands, with the intention for use as a potted plant. Dahlinova® California produces semi-double flowers (extra petal rows) with bicolored magenta-red and yellow petals. Wide-opened flower heads finally reveal a small central yellow tuft of stamens.
