The pretty and easy-to-grow Astoria™ Red ('Sunphlore') phlox bears cheerful clusters of vivid violet-red flowers. Compact in height but spreading its upright stems, this small, short-lived annual originates from the Texas native Phlox drummondii. It has great vigor, flowering most consistently in spring and autumn, with a good tolerance to and floral performance in summertime heat.
