Tatarian maple is a small, bushy tree that originates from southeastern Europe and southwestern Asia. This unusually hardy deciduous tree is a great selection for northern gardens. Its rounded, glossy green leaves turn a colorful red to yellow in the fall and in spring trees bear clusters of cream-colored flowers followed by red .
