AGASTACHE mexicana
Mexican Hyssop
A member of the mint family, this fragrant, short-lived, bushy perennial is native to Mexico. Its open spikes of showy rose-pink flowers appear from summer into fall above lance-shaped, lemon-scented leaves.
This low-maintenance, drought-tolerant plant likes well drained soil and full sun. It is an excellent choice for sunny mixed borders and hummingbird gardens and does well in containers.
