AJANIA pacifica( MIMOSA SERIES)
Pacific chrysanthemums in the Mimosa Series are low spreading perennials with attractive medium green silver-edged foliage. They are most notable for their compact, uniform habits and interesting floral color options.
These low-growing plants spread via rhizomes. They offer attractive evergreen to semi-evergreen foliage that looks pretty most of the season. In the fall, the plants become covered with clusters of small yellow, pink or white button-like flowers.
Plant Pacific chrysanthemums in full to partial sun and average soil with good drainage. They can be quite drought tolerant once established. Japanese in origin, Pacific chrysanthemums are best grown in rock gardens or as groundcover plants for sunny sites.
