Botanical Name
ALSTROEMERIA 'Stapripal'( PRINCESS™ PAOLA, PRINCESS LILIES™ SERIES) PP11145
Plant Common Name
Lily-of-the-Incas, Princess™ Paola Alstroemeria
General Description
Princess Paola alstroemeria ('Stapripal') is a slightly shorter growing member of the series. A floral display has an overall orange coloring, but the petals are vividly multicolored. Petals are light pink/peach with yellow throat with few dark speckles, if any at all. There is a wide band of salmon on each petal.
The patented Princess Lilies series of alstroemeria was developed by Dutch breeders to be excellent garden plants. They are shorter and more compact plants with excellent branching that leads to lots of free flowering blossoms. Flowers are long lasting and resemble azalea blossoms; they come in a wide array of colors.
All alstroemeria enjoy cool, moist and deep sandy loams and are somewhat slow to establish after transplanting. Cool summers help to prolong flowering seasons.
