ANEMONE x hybrida 'September Charm'
Fall Anemone, Hybrid Anemone, September Charm Anemone
Talk about a cloud of airy pink for the late season perennial border! A hybrid of the two species Anemone hupehensis var. japonica and Anemone vitifolia, ‘September Charm’ bears tall, loose stems covered with numerous buttercup-like flowers of silvery pink above spreading mounds of dark green, lobed foliage. Blooms appear from late summer to fall and are attractive to bees.
Grow fall-flowering anemones in sites with part sun and average to moist, humus-rich soil. If left undisturbed they will spread vigorously, so it is best to divide them every two to three years.
