General Description

Snapdragons are short-lived perennials, often used as annuals, from Southwestern Europe and the Mediterranean. This old-fashioned favorite should be grown in full sun in sharply-drained soil. The flowers appear in spring, summer and into fall; they may pause blooming in very hot weather and then re-bloom when the temperature cools. Good for cut flowers, at the edge of a rock garden, in containers, and in garden beds.
