Botanical Name

ANTIRRHINUM majus 'Sonnet Mix'( SONNET SERIES)

Plant Common Name

Snapdragon, Sonnet Mix Snapdragon

General Description

Sonnet Series snapdragons are short-lived tender perennials from southwestern Europe and the Mediterranean that are typically used as annuals. 'Sonnet Mix' snapdragons have flowers in an array of colors, including some that are bicolored. The plants are vigorous and everblooming in shades of orange, red, yellow, white and pink. Plants will flower from summer to fall if spent flowerspikes are removed. When weather is very hot they may cease blooming until cooler autumn weather returns.

Grow snapdragons in sites with full sun and sharply-drained, average soil. Enjoy these old-fashioned garden favorites in containers and mixed beds and perennial borders. Strong stems also make 'Sonnet Mix' snapdragons great for cutting.p>
