ARTEMISIA lactiflora
White Mugwort
White mugwort is a clump forming, tall herbaceous perennial that is a native of western China. This plant grows best in rich, well drained soil and full sun. This artemisia is known for having showy and wispy flowers. The creamy, white flowers bloom from late summer to mid fall.
White mugwort should be given a fertile well drained soil in a sunny location. It is great for use as a cut or dried flower and is often used in border plantings. It would be a lovely companion plant around other fall flowering perennials such as asters and goldenrod.
