General Description
The pendulous double flowers of Gum Drop Cherry Blossom wax begonia are exceptionally pretty. Throughout the growing season, it presents lustrous, succulent green foliage and crowned with many fluffy double flowers that are pink in bud and open to white. Plants are evergreen in warm zones and don't require deadheading once their flowers are spent.
Easy to grow and shade-tolerant, this tender perennial is commonly used as a bedding plant or in containers. Overall, it grows its finest in partial sun to shade and well-drained, but evenly moist soil. Sandy soil should be amended with organic matter to diminish stress on plants in the heat of summer.
