General Description
Popular bedding plants, Cocktail Series wax begonias are tender perennials of hybrid origin. These plants are evergreen in tropical to sub-tropical zones but grown as annuals in temperate zones. The 'Vodka' cultivar displays a bright combination of bronze foliage and scarlet flowers.
These plants excel in a moist, well drained soil in full to partial sun. Add organic matter to sandy soils especially while growing in the heat of summer. As reliable bloomers they are often used as annuals in containers, hanging baskets and mass plantings.
