A collection of tender perennials with a tight habit and mounding to slightly spreading tendency, Swan River daisies in the Surdaisy™ Series are usually grown as annuals that are killed by seasonal frosts and freezes. Another feature of this collection that it includes plants that produce pink and yellow flowers in addition to the typical lavender-blue and white forms. Leaves are bright emerald green and finely textured, but the pink-flowering cultivar's leaves are darker green and resemble chrysanthemum foliage in shape.
Surdaisy™ Series Swan River daisies survive in a variety of soil conditions and are drought tolerant, but grow best in non-alkaline, moist, well-drained soil and full sun. These plants are perfect as bedding plants, edging, mixed border members or as lone specimens in a container or seasonal hanging basket.
