CALIBRACHOA 'Wescasuno'( CELEBRATION™ SUN NOVA, CELEBRATION™ SERIES) PP15837
Calibrachoa, Callie™ Calibrachoa, Sun Nova Million Bells
Beautiful, sunny yellow flowers with dark veins cover this heat-tolerant, robust summer bedding annual. The uniform, free-branching plant is semi-upright and cascading making it ideal for hanging baskets and containers. This cultivar was bred by Heinrich Westhoff of Sudlohn, Germany.
Once botanically lumped in with petunias, calibrachoas have become some of the best warm season bedding plants on the market. Members of the free-flowering Celebration™ series are compact and produce bountiful small, funnel-shaped flowers all summer. These appear above dense, cascading plants with small resinous pale green leaves that are fragrant. Some cultivars in this series even have variegated foliage. The flowers come in many shades including yellow, white, pink, purple, red and orange. A number are bicolored.
Heat-loving and everblooming, calibrachoas grow best in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. They do not require deadheading but light pruning and regular fertilizer will prolong vigorous bloom. They are ideal for containers and bed edges and will bloom freely all summer with minimal care.
