CAMPANULA carpatica 'Pearl Deep Blue'
Carpathian Bellflower, Pearl Deep Blue Bellflower
Carpathian harebell is a mounding, herbaceous perennial that originates from the Carpathian Mountains of Eastern Europe. The cultivar 'Pearl Deep Blue' blooms more profusely than standard Campanula carpatica and has a dwarf habit. In late spring to fall it puts forth large, upward facing, open bell-shaped flowers of violet-blue. This perennial prefers sites with full to partial sun and fertile, well drained soil. Popular and everblooming, Pearl deep blue Carpathian harebell is best placed along garden edges, in containers, or rock and alpine gardens.
