General Description

Takion Blue peachleaf bellflower has a compact stature and attain a mature size half that of the species. It is self-branching and carry many flowers that are actually lavender, even though dubbed "blue". The peachleaf bellflower is a rhizomatous perennial that originates from Russia, Asia and Europe. Plants have lance-shaped medium green leaves (likened in appearance to peach leaves) and bear willowy stems of glossy, pendulous, lavender, bell-shaped flowers that appear in early to late summer.

Grow 'Takion Blue' in a site with full sun to part shade and fertile, moist, well-drained soils. These perennials are best used in cottage gardens and the foreground of mixed borders. They have become popular as a seasonal potted plant for the house.
