CELOSIA argentea 'Amigo Mix'( Cristata Group, AMIGO SERIES)
Amigo Mix Crested Cockscomb, Crested Cockscomb
The colorful "brainy" floral crests of crested cockscomb are commonly used in annual borders and containers and make great cut flowers. The Amigo Mix plants are dwarf, bushy annuals to short-lived perennials. The leaves are bright green and the cultivar Amigo Mahogany Red’s which is included in the mix, are purple-red. Amigo Mix flower heads are huge, bracted flower clusters of red, magenta, neon rose, scarlet and yellow. Plant these ornamentals in sites with full sun, and average, well drained soil. Their dried flower heads may be used in everlasting arrangements.
