Hinoki King falsecypress is a slow-growing small evergreen tree native to Japan with twisting dark green leaves. These needles are flattened and have white bands on the undersides.

'Wells Hinoki King' should be situated in a full sun location in a moist and well-draining soil. Its mature size, although slow to obtain, makes it perfect for foundation accents or as a specimen in a mixed shrub border, large rockery or cemetery. Protect it from cold, dry winter winds.
