CHRYSANTHEMUM x morifolium 'Cool Yoigloo'( COOL IGLOO, IGLOO SERIES) PP20225
This hardy bedding chrsysanthemum produces dense branching clusters of fully double, deep lilac-pink blooms in late summer and early autumn. The flowers are held above dense, 18- to 24-inch (45 to 60 cm) clumps of lobed, pungently scented, medium-green leaves. Unlike most "decorative" mums, members of the Igloo Series are reliably perennial to USDA Hardiness Zone 5.
This hardy perennial prefers full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Pinch plants back in late spring or early summer to encourage a neater habit and heavier fall flowering. Use it in mixed borders with ornamental grasses, asters, stonecrops, and other late-bloomers.
