CHRYSANTHEMUM x morifolium 'Frosty Yoigloo'( FROSTY IGLOO, IGLOO SERIES) PP20251
This hardy bedding chrysanthemum produces dense branching clusters of double white blooms in late summer and early autumn. The flowers are held above dense, 18- to 24-inch (45 to 60 cm) clumps of lobed, pungently scented, medium-green leaves. Unlike most "decorative" mums, this and other members of the Igloo Series are reliably perennial to USDA Hardiness Zone 5.
This herbaceous perennial prefers full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Pinch plants back in late spring or early summer to encourage a neater habit and heavier fall flowering. Use it in mixed borders with ornamental grasses, asters, stonecrops, and other late-bloomers.
