Helping You Become a More Successful Gardener
CHRYSANTHEMUM x morifolium 'Yoadelle'(FLEURETTES ADELLE™) PP21399
Single Spoon Chrysanthemum
The "spoon" chrysanthemum Fleurettes Adelle™ produces masses of small, chartreuse-eyed "daisies" with white, spoon-shaped petals. The 1.5-inch-wide (3.5 cm) blossoms are borne on dwarf, mounded plants. This spoon chrysanthemum is also distinguished by its relatively small, glossy, dark green leaves. Typically grown as a seasonal container plant, Fleurettes Adelle™ can also be used as a garden plant in USDA Hardiness Zones 7 to 9. It was introduced by Yoder Brothers of Barberton, Ohio, and is available only as vegetatively propagated plants.
Florists' chrysanthemums originated in eastern Asia, where they have been bred and selected for many centuries. Like most florists' mums, Fleurettes Adelle™ thrives in full sun and a fertile, well-drained growing medium.
