CLEMATIS 'Bee's Jubilee'
Bee's Jubilee Clematis, Clematis, Early Large-flowered Clematis
The large, rich pink flowers of ‘Bees Jubilee’ are striped with deeper pink down each petal. The single flowers appear from late spring through early summer along moderately vigorous vines.
This hybrid clematis is a hardy deciduous woody vine that climbs by twining stems. The vines are lined with green compound leaves that appear in spring. The large flowers appear from spring to summer and are followed by fluffy clusters of silvery seeds.
Clematis prefers a position with at least five to six hours of sun per day and fertile, well-drained soil. They grow and flower best if their roots remain cool under a vegetative layer or thick mulch. The sweet ‘Bees Jubilee’ looks best trained along a wall, trellis, or arbor.
