General Description
This is a late, small flowering climber. The flowers are bell shaped, usually nodding, and are mostly blue,purple or rose red in color. The viticella group of clematis are late flowering in midsummer to early autumn. Prune in late winter as new buds begin to show low on plant. Remove all dead material above the new shoots.
Use on trellises,walls and shrubs to add a vertical interest in the garden.
