CLEMATIS 'Evipo009'(HYDE HALL™) PP17704
Clematis, Hyde Hall™ Clematis
The silvery white flowers Hyde Hall™ are kissed with a hint of pink and cover this large, vigorous, free-flowering vine all summer. This cultivar was introduced by Poulsen Roser International and bred in the United Kingdom by Raymond J. Evison and Mogens Olesen.
Hybrid clematis is a hardy deciduous woody vine that climbs by twining stems. The vines are lined with green compound leaves that appear in spring. The colorful flowers appear all summer and are followed by fluffy clusters of silvery seeds.
Plant this vine in sites with full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. It grows and flowers best if its roots remain cool under a vegetative layer or thick mulch. As with most clematis, this selection adds a vertical element to the garden and looks best when trained on a fence, trellis or pergola.
This is a Group 2 clematis, which means its flower buds develop on the previous year's growth, so pruning should be done after it blooms.
