Clematis, Huldine Clematis, Late Large-flowered Clematis
Huldine clematis is a strong-growing vine that has small, cup-shaped white flowers backed or edged in purple-pink. It is a long-blooming selection starting in midsummer, lasting into the warm early autumn.
Clematis vine prefers a position with at least five to six hours of sun per day and fertile, well-drained soil. Shade the rootzone with mulch. In early spring, prune each stem's growth down to a pair of strong buds above the soil level. ‘Huldine’ can be used to dress up a wall, trellis, or arbor, or it can be allowed to scramble over shrubs or into small trees.
