CLEMATIS 'Margot Koster'
Clematis, Margot Koster Clematis
’Margot Koster’ ('M. Koster') is a vine that has small pink flowers that bloom from midsummer to late summer. The petals are mildly rounded in shape, at times being oval or even heat-shaped and do not overlap each other. In the center of the petals is a banding of darker pink.
Clematis prefers a position with at least five to six hours of sun per day and fertile, well-drained soil that is moist and cooled by shade or mulching. In early spring, prune back all growth to a pair of healthy buds on each stem above ground level. ‘Margot Koster’ can be used to dress up a wall, trellis, or arbor, or it can be allowed to scramble over shrubs or into small trees.
