COREOPSIS 'Crembru'(CRÈMÉ BRÛLÉE™) PP16096
Coreopsis, Crème Brûlée Tickseed, Hybrid Tickseed, Limerock Ruby Tickseed
Crème Brûlée™ tickseed is a very showy short-lived perennial. In summer, tidy mounded plants, with deeply divided bright green foliage, put forth many pretty daisies of buttercream yellow with darker yellow eyes.
Like most Coreopsis, these do best in sites with full to part sun and well drained, average soil. Though a vigorous bloomer, Crème Brûlée™ is less vigorous when it comes to surviving cold, wet winters and may be planted as an annual. Plants will continue blooming into fall if spent flowers are removed. This butterfly magnet looks stupendous when massed with other sun-loving perennials like Veronica spicata 'Icicle' and blue fescue.
