COREOPSIS 'Limerock Passion'( LIMEROCK SERIES) PP15979
Coreopsis, Hybrid Tickseed
The coreopsis cultivar, ‘Limerock Passion’ is a very showy, short-lived perennial. In late spring to early fall, tidy mounded plants, with deeply divided medium green leave put forth a profusion of daisy-like flowers that are lavender-pink with yellow centers (lavender-pink is an unusual color, given that most coreopsis are yellow). As the plant matures, the flowers become paler pink.
Like most coreopsis, ‘Limerock Passion’ grows and flowers best in full to part sun and well drained, average soil. It will continue to bloom as long as spent flowers are sheared. This coreopsis makes a great addition to sunny perennial borders and containers, and its flowers are highly attractive to butterflies.
