General Description

Dwarf rose daphne is a very compact, low trailing evergreen shrub from the Alps of Southeast France and Northeast Italy. In early spring this tiny gem bears beautiful clusters of very fragrant soft pink flowers. It sometimes reblooms sparsely. Its rambling branches have small, narrow dark green leaves.

Rose daphne should be planted in full to partial sun and cool, well-drained, humus rich soil. It is often slow to establish. Prune lightly after flowering to avoid a ragged appearance in winter. It makes a nice patio or rock garden plant.
