Dianthus 'Bath's Pink'
Bath's Pink Cheddar Pinks, Hybrid Pinks
Bath's pink cheddar pink is a popular hardy perennial. It forms clumps of blue-green, grass-like foliage that is semi-evergreen. In early to midsummer, plants become covered with single stems of pale pink flowers that put forth a spicy fragrance. These will rebloom intermittently later in the season if spent flowers are removed. Bath's pink cheddar pink requires full sun and perfectly drained, slightly alkaline soil. It is an ideal perennial for rock gardens, and the edges of sunny beds and borders.
