EUONYMUS fortunei 'Emerald Gaiety'
Emerald Gaiety Wintercreeper, Wintercreeper
Emerald gaiety wintercreeper is a broadleaf evergreen with an upright, bushy habit. It originates from China and is grown for its attractive, dense, glossy green leaves. Throughout the growing season these are dark green with white edges but develop pink hues in late autumn through winter.
This shade-loving ornamental is tolerant of a wide range of soils and soil conditions. In colder climates it may suffer from winter burn if exposed to too much light and wind. It is a vigorous plant that is well suited to foundation plantings and mixed borders.
