HEMEROCALLIS 'Baley Hay'
Baley Hay Daylily, Daylily
The daylily is a reliable perennial that everyone knows and loves. The flowers of the late summer blooming ‘Baley Hay’ are peach with slightly darker throats. They are triangular to circular in shape and the petals are slightly ruffled. The flowers arise from neat clumps of bright green strap-like leaves.
All daylilies are easy to grow if provided full to partial sun and average soil with good drainage. Their clumps spread over time and may need to be divided every three to four years. Otherwise, they require little care, though it is good to cut their foliage back if it starts to look worn in midsummer. Enjoy them in mixed beds, borders, containers and large mass plantings.
