HEMEROCALLIS 'Pixie Beauty'
Daylily, Pixie Beauty Daylily
Pixie Beauty daylily is a highly ornamental compact perennial. Neat clumps of bright green strap-like leaves appear in mid spring. Its single, lily-like flowers of frosty pink have white edges and a green throat and appear in late spring atop leafless stems. These are mildly fragrant and attractive to many pollinators. Plants will rebloom later in the season with good care.
This perennial is easy to grow if provided with full to part sun and fertile to average, well drained soil. Daylily clumps slowly spread over time and need to be divided ever two to three years. After plants bloom, it is wise to shear back their foliage to allow for a fresh flush of growth. Enjoy the ornamental 'Pixie Beauty' in mixed beds and borders, containers and large mass plantings.
