Heuchera 'Silver Scrolls' PP12066
Coralbells, Silver Scrolls Coralbells
The silvery, lobed leaves of Heuchera ‘Silver Scrolls’ are decorated with deep, burgundy-green veining and contrasting, purple undersides. A subtle display of delicate, whitish, bell-shaped flowers appear on short, slender stems in late spring to early summer.
Heuchera is happiest when grown in partial sun or bright filtered shade similar to that of a naturally open forest. In the South it requires protection from direct afternoon sun. Well-drained, neutral, organic-rich soil with average moisture is needed for best growth and performance. This striking Heuchera is a stylish choice for container compositions, mixed borders or woodland gardens and makes a fine edging plant or groundcover.
The diverse genus Heuchera comprises approximately 50 species and hundreds of hybrid cultivars. These hardy perennials are endemic to North America and are most commonly grown for their attractive basal clumps of evergreen, semi-evergreen or herbaceous foliage that comes in a variety of solid or variegated colors.
