Hyacinthus orientalis 'City of Haarlem'
City of Haarlem Hyacinth, Hyacinth
Hyacinth is a perennial bulb native to western Asia. Its cultivar 'City of Haarlem' bears dense cylindrical clusters of pale yellow, bell-shaped flowers on upright stems in early to mid-spring.
Plant hyacinths in sun or partial shade. Well drained soil is best since these bulbs resent "wet feet". They work well in mixed borders and for winter "forcing".
