JUNIPERUS chinensis 'Old Gold'
Chinese Juniper, Old Gold Juniper
Chinese juniper is a variable evergreen tree or shrub native to China and Japan. A sport of 'Pfitzeriana Aurea', 'Old Gold' is a dwarf shrubby hybrid of Chinese juniper with gracefully arching branches. The bronze gold foliage holds its color well into winter, though it may fade slightly in summer. 'Old Gold' prefers sun and well-drained soil, and is widely used for massing or as a foundation plant.
