General Description

Noted for its golden flowers and gold-edged leaves Lemon Swirl® is an outstanding lantana for any garden. Like all lantana it's an everblooming, evergreen tropical shrub grown as a tender perennial in temperate zones. The plants have green leaves with golden edges, a dense branching habit, and an abundance of cheerful flowers.

Lantanas prefer full sun and moist, well-drained, average soil. They are highly attractive to butterflies, look best when planted in masses and offer season-long brilliant color to beds and containers. Where hardy, this shrub can be trained into tree-like standards.

Lantana camara, one of parents in this hybrid, has been called one of the world’s worst weeds. It is highly invasive in some locations. There are sterile cultivars which may be used in the landscape.
