Lilium 'Casa Blanca'
Casa Blanca Oriental Lily, Oriental Lily
Oriental lilies are renowned for their large, wide-flaring, bowl-shaped, often intensely fragrant flowers that typically occur late in the season. Long a favorite among gardeners and flower arrangers, the Oriental lily 'Casa Blanca' bears pure white, fragrant flowers, which stand tall on sturdy stems in late summer. Plant in full to partial sun and well-drained, humus-rich soil. 'Casa Blanca' works wonderfully in perennial borders, containers, woodland edge plantings, butterfly and hummingbird gardens, or anywhere else its beauty and fragrance can be appreciated. Remove its anthers if using it as a cut flower so they don't stain the blossoms.
