PAEONIA lactiflora 'Bowl Of Beauty'
Bowl of Beauty Garden Peony, Herbaceous Peony
The popular garden peony 'Bowl of Beauty' is a large, bushy perennial that originates from eastern Asia. It is primarily grown for its large, semi-double flowers of deep coral-pink with fluffy, yellow anemone-like centers. These bloom in late spring to early summer, are fragrant, and make outstanding cut flowers.
Peonies are old-fashioned perennials that grow best in full to part sun and well-drained, fertile soil. Large-flowered varieties tend to have very heavy flowers and may require staking. These are very long-lived and have been known to survive in gardens for over 100-years. They look super in foundation plantings or any floral border.
