Sure to draw a fluttering dance of butterflies, Longwood Pink Egyptian starcluster is a small, compactly sized plant with pink flowers often used in annual beds. This tropical, rounded, tender perennial have dark green, lance-shaped leaves and bears many clusters of small tubular, star-shaped, creamy light pink flowers when temperatures are warm. It is everblooming and appreciates regular deadheading to ensure a continual flush of new blossoms.
Heat, humidity and drought tolerant once established, 'Longwood Pink' prospers in full to part sun and fertile, well drained soil. It is a vigorous tender perennial that is ideally used as an annual bedding plant for front edges of sunny borders, butterfly gardens, and small hanging baskets, window boxes and patio containers.
