Sure to draw a fluttering dance of butterflies, New Look Violet Egyptian starcluster is a small, compactly sized plant with hot pink-fuchsia-violet flowers often used in annual beds. This tropical, shrubby, tender perennial have dark green, lance-shaped leaves and bears many clusters of small tubular, star-shaped, electric fuchsia-hot pink flowers when temperatures are warm. It is everblooming and appreciates regular deadheading to ensure a continual flush of new blossoms.
Heat, humidity and drought tolerant once established, 'New Look Violet' prospers in full to part sun and fertile, well drained soil. It is a vigorous tender perennial that is ideally used as an annual bedding plant for front edges of sunny borders, butterfly gardens, and small hanging baskets, window boxes and patio containers.
