A circumboreal plant, northern Jacob's ladder is a low-growing herbaceous perennial native across the lands surrounding the Arctic Ocean. The selection 'Iceberg Point' is unique with its silvery green foliage and flowers of purplish blue-violet with a white center eye. The foliage is nearly fern-like with the many oval leaflets on each leaf. Leaves are a highly glossy green with a silver sheen.
Grow 'Iceberg Point' in cool conditions and moist, well drained soil. Deadhead expired flower stems to prolong bloom and prevent self-sowing. This selections works well in a partially shaded rockery or mixed border.
