General Description

Korean rock fern is a small, semievergreen terrestrial fern native to eastern Asia. Often grown as a greenhouse plant but hardy to USDA zone 6, it produces a neat clump of leathery, shiny, dark green, narrowly triangular fronds with dark stems.

Korean rock fern likes shade and rich, well-drained soil. Established plants can take some dryness. It works well in a cool greenhouse or shaded rock garden.
