Rosa 'Arcanum'
Arcanum Rose, Miniature Rose
White, fully double flowers with apricot pink petal tips grace the sweet miniature rose, 'Arcanum.' This everbloomer was introduced in 2001 by Rosemania. Its numerous flowers are not fragrant but are recognized as being of exhibition quality.
This miniature rose has a bushy, upright habit and stems lined with small, sharp, woody thorns. Its compound leaves are leathery and deep green. With good care and maintenance. Flowering occurs from early summer through frost. The small, double flowers are white with deep apricot pink tips.
Roses prefer full to partial sun, moderate temperatures and perfectly drained, slightly acid soil with average to good fertility. They grow best in places with slightly dry climates, because such climates disfavor the fungal diseases that plague them. For this reason, it is important to maintain good airflow within and between planted roses through good planting and pruning practices, which will dissuade fungal attacks. Roses are rife with pest and disease problems.
Miniature roses are perfect for sunny foundations, mixed borders and containers. Especially pretty, floriferous cultivars like this one.
